New Toy

Surprise Mommy!
The boys and Brian surprised me with a new camera for Mother's day and my birthday -- what a surprise it was. We had some family visiting over Easter and I was able to try out the camera we had been talking about getting. We got a new camera that will allow me to take action shots of the boys - no more blurs running by me! Here is one of the boys in the tub -- I can't resist naked babies!

Now, on to the really cool pictures. The boys love to run to Brian and have him throw them up in the air -- here are some great shots with my new camera -- The camera takes 3.7 shots a second!

No daddys (or children) were harmed in the making of this post.

Singin' in the Rain

It rained and rained and rained here for the last day and half. The boys were so scared of the thunder and lighting. Once the thunder and lighting stopped, the boys wanted to take their paraguas (spanish for umbrella -- we are working hard on spanish) outside!

Wild, Wacky Wednesday

Something to brighten your day -- you will need to turn the sound off on the music to hear what the boys are saying!

Weekend In Review

We had a fun weekend. The weather was great here. On Saturday we went to a Trout Fish Hatchery near us. We saw thousands of trout in various sizes. The boys loved looking at them. Then we went on a 15 minute hike through "the woodlands" (as Benjamin calls the woods).
Today, we went to the Southeastern Railways Museum for Caboose Day. Papaw joined us. The boys loves trains and we thought this would be a fun adventure! As you can see, Ethan jumped in all the trains and loved it.

Papaw, Ethan and Brian rode in the caboose of a real train. Benjamin and I stayed at the station and took pictures.

It took Benjamin a while to warm to the idea of getting on a train -- he was worried that it was going to move. Finally, he realized that they were stationary.

Stay tuned later in the week for Ethan's Birthday and Easter.......

News Flash:

After 42 straight months of having one or more cribs in our house, all cribs have left the building!
This big boy:
got a new nest today.
We moved Ethan to a toddler bed today. This was him at nap time -- it was so easy! He laid right down and went to sleep with he Gigi to protect him!
Tonight, Ethan helped us take apart his crib and we moved his new big bed to its new home. It did take a little longer tonight for him to get to sleep. There were also a few more tears.

The time is now 10:15pm -- do you know where your children are? Mine are tucked snugly in their respective big boy bed!
'Night all. (Stay tuned for Birthday and Easter posts)
